Is this what they call "nesting"???

That was Ben's question to me just a few minutes ago as I was examining the stroller/car seat and pack-n-play that he had just put together. =)

...so if you're wondering what I've been up to tonight...

...I've been organizing... and organizing some more... I love each and every moment of this crazy, insane, busy week!!!  This is the very last week that we have to be without Baby P - praise the Lord!!!

What delightful fun!! I know your arms are just aching to hold him. He certainly will be well dressed! We are counting down the days with you!!

It is nesting, and it's fun, isn;t it? Martha's right -- there's no chance that boy will ever be underdressed. :)

Isn't it amazing how the adrenaline just hits you and carries you through all of the craziness! I can't imagine having this little of time with your first child. We had 5 weeks with our first adoption, then 8 weeks with our second...and 3 hours with our 3rd! But, with your 3rd you don't really need to get all that much new stuff!

Still praying for you all! You look prepared momma!

Welcome to motherhood. I know you have been waiting awhile like I did as well. Congrats. I realized after our 2 adoptions that I went through all the same processes and emotions as any biological mother. I have done it both ways and it really isn't that different. Nesting is getting ready for you child. That is what you are doing. :)

I know 10 days is a short amount of time to get ready, especially for people who are planners. (and I can tell from your pics you are one like me) But often God uses situations like these to show us He is in control and no amount of preparation can prepare us for His plan. With our first daughter who is almost 4, we had only 20 hours notice before we got her. We weren't even on a list and didn't plan to adopt at that moment. So trust me you can do this and it will come together. Congrats and welcome to your journey of parenthood.
