I have truly been slacking in the blogging area...we've just been so busy that it feels like the summer is flying by! We've been spending a lot of time with our families and friends... grilling out, swimming, and just enjoying time together. Reid still continues to be the center of our world (of course!!) and we are loving every minute with him. And...he seems to be quite the social butterfly with all of the birthday party invitations that have been coming to our house... 6 parties just this month...CRAZY!!! I did remember my camera at Kailey's birthday party last week...it was Reid's first time to experience Chuck E. Cheese, and he had so much fun - he was on sensory overload the entire time =)
The actual Chuck E. Cheese scared him - I have to agree, he is quite creepy - so we settled for pics with Chuck E's picture =)
I have also FINALLY finished Reid's nursery and taken some pictures to post (I was waiting on getting all of his newborn prints blown up and framed). I really love how it all turned out! We got all of the bedding and bath stuff from Restoration Hardware Baby & Child...
And finally...some pics of the little guy playing hard (that's what he does best!)...such an angel baby! Here's Reid talking to his frog...
Reid is also really starting to sit up well! He so badly wants to do it on his own, and holds himself up for a few seconds before toppling over. Here's one of his new favorites...the bumbo chair...
And, a pic of Reid holding his own bottles (it's a cell phone pic, so it's grainy). I feel like my baby is getting so big so fast!
I'm sure to have several more posts very soon... This week we are celebrating both Grandma and Doc's birthdays as well as Father's Day... busy, busy... but looking so forward to all of the great memories!

His nursery is so cute!
LOVE the nursery- it is gorgeous, or handsome rather :)(my son always corrects me to use handsome and not beautiful when referring to anything boy!)
You scared me at first! When this post came up in my reader, it showed the title "Reid's Nursery" next to the picture with Chuckee Cheese! I thought "Has she lost her mind???? He is going to be afraid of mice for life!" So glad that I read the entire post. I love love love his nursery. You did such a great job. I really like his name over his bed and the colors you chose. Did you paint the letters yourself?
Chuck E Cheese scares every child!! I think if he was not afraid then I would worry :)!! A long time ago they had the band at the front also with a giant black gorilla it was like a horror movie. Not sure what would make people think kids would like that. I am glad that my kids have outgrown the Chuck E Cheese phase. Jack still likes it, but is big enough I can talk him into other things. The nursery is precious. Call me this week and we can do lunch.
I can't believe how big he is getting!
He is a doll...DOLL. I LOVE his nursery! I'm getting excited b/c before long I get to make my REid a big boy room! Love seeing your precious family and REALLY want to meet Reid. Next time you're coming to Waco, missy!
He is such a cutie! And cherish the pics of the nursery being so "pretty" and tidy. As soon as he's mobile, it will never look that way again! ;)
