Reid's Preschool Birthday Party

We can hardly believe that our baby boy is turning 3 YEARS OLD! I mean 3 is BIG... really big. I have no clue how it came so quickly!

We have a HUGE week planned with lots of celebrating and all of our family coming in - we are so excited! On Tuesday, Jan 30th, KK was the first to arrive to help Mommy get everything prepared. She was such a huge help! And an added bonus is that she got to join me at Reid's preschool birthday party on Thursday morning, Feb 2nd. Here are a few pics of Reid and his classmates...

Reid had to take Thomas the Train cupcakes, of course - they were a huge hit!

All of the kids waiting patiently while we set out their cupcakes...

The birthday boy!

Look at all these kiddos - their teachers are so brave! Ha!

And, of course, we had to do a silly pic...

On Thursday after the party, Grandma and Pops arrived... Doc flew in... and even Aunt Candice and "Baby Cousin Annabel" flew in from Manhattan, NY. Everyone was so excited to celebrate with Reid! Here is a little schedule of the next few days... pics to come!

THURSDAY, FEB 2nd: Reid's School Party, The whole family arrives!, Mommy & Daddy's 10 Year Wedding Anniversary, Dinner with the entire family at Doe's Steakhouse in Downtown (Yummy!)

Friday, February 3rd: REIDER IS 3!!!, Jump!Zone Birthday Party (10am), Lunch and Opening presents at our house, Daddy surprises Mommy and takes her out of town to celebrate our anniversary! (Grandma, Pops, Aunt Candice, and Annabel stayed the weekend with Reid)

It was such a fun few days with much celebrating!

Random Happenings

My apologies for being absent from the blogosphere since our Christmas updates... we've been quite busy around here with a certain little 3 year old! What have we been doing, you might ask? Well... playing hard, of course! Here are a few random pictures from our daily life that I took off of my iphone...

The streets of Little Rock will never be the same! Reid with his two buddies, Avery & Owen... they have a blast riding their new 4-wheelers together!

We love having our friend, Carson, spend the night! Sweet friends =)

Boys night!

Reid and his little buddy, Cole-Cole, having a blast at Larry's Pizza

Oh... and the birthday parties... we do LOTS of birthday parties! Here's Owen's 3rd Bday party at Chuck E. Cheese!

Someone has to be JUST LIKE Daddy...

Love this picture of my two men!

Blog Catch Up!

It's been such a busy few weeks around here - possibly my favorite time of the year! We've celebrated Reid's 3rd birthday, our 10 year wedding anniversary, and February 5th - the day we met Reid for the very first time just 3 short years ago. I have a lot of pictures to post in the next few blog entries, so... GET READY!

A Floyd Christmas

Christmas morning at the Floyd house (KK & Doc's) started off BRIGHT AND EARLY (6:30am) because we had one VERY excited little boy who wanted to "open my Santa presents"!

Here he is walking out into the living room...

Of course, the first thing he went to was his new remote control train!

Daddy, Doc, and Uncle Craig trying to put it together...

Notice the two year old has put together the entire train before they got one piece of the track down =)

Helping KK open one of her presents =)

Back to playing more trains...

Completely fascinated by the train!

Look what else Santa brought... a new motorcycle!

We hit a few walls learning how to drive, so we moved on outside... sadly, the camera didn't make it!

Happy boy!

Getting more trains from Aunt NeeNee and Uncle Craig

A Peterson Christmas

Christmas 2011 has been the best yet! Reid being 2.5 years old is at such a fun age for all things Christmas! He is understanding the very basic Christmas story of Jesus' birth... and he DEFINITELY got Santa Clause and all the presents. To say we had a wonderful time, would be an understatement.

This year, we traveled home to DFW to spend time with both sides of our families. We spent Christmas Eve with the Peterson clan, then Christmas Day with the Floyd crew (Floyd Christmas post up next!). This post includes some of my favorite pictures from Christmas Eve with all of the Peterson's...

First order of business was meeting our PRECIOUS new niece, Annabel (or as Reid calls her "Baby Cousin Annabel"). I was so excited and fell in love immediately! Her I am with Annabel and her Mommy (Aunt Candice)...

Reid did surprisingly well with Annabel and did great at sharing Grandma and Pops attention! If Annabel would start to cry, he'd run over and pat her back and say "It otay, Baby Cousin Annabel. Dat all better!" It was too cute! Here's a pic of both cousins with Grandma and Pops:

Ben and I opening presents on Christmas Eve =)

Some more pics of the Reider...

Grandma, of course, cooked a wonderful Christmas Eve meal! Going around the table is Ben, myself, Reid, Grandma, Annabel, Aunt Candice, Uncle Joe, and Uncle Jeff (Pops was taking the picture)

Now Grandma taking a picture...

Reid hanging out with Uncle Jeff (Reid's uncles were his favorite people over the holiday!)

All the "big Kids"

Sweet boy
