I forgot to add...
People have been asking and I forgot to mention this in my last post... We will be meeting sweet Reid for the first time on Thursday morning!!!! We can hardly contain our excitement!!! I think sleep tonight is going to be near impossible =) We are heading down to Austin tomorrow (Wednesday), and can't wait to cuddle and kiss those chubby cheeks!!!

WOW!!! We can't believe he's FINALLY here!!! Praise the Lord!!! Both Reid and S are doing well in recovery - thank you all so very much for your prayers! And...as you can see... Baby P finally has a name! =) A short little background on why we chose his name... Reid's birth family has been praying for him by the name 'Michael' since they found out that S was pregnant. We loved that!!! The fact that he has been so loved and showered in prayers since the very beginning is such a HUGE blessing! So, we wanted to keep Michael in honor of them and this incredible gift that they are so selflessly giving our family... Michael "Reid"... feels so good to say that!!! We will be posting TONS of pictures by Thursday evening... so check back in!
Please pray today...
S was admitted to the hospital at 8am this morning. Please join us in praying the following scripture over her, sweet Baby P, and the entire family...
"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." Rom. 15:13
Please pray for health and safety. Our baby boy will be here soon!!!

Aunt Candice & Uncle Joey
Baby P had such a fun surprise this evening!!! We received a HUGE box of sweet gifts from Aunt Candice and Uncle Joey... =)
Sorry about the picture quality here... but we LOVE ALL OF IT!!! (Especially the Columbia onesie and the 'Goodnight New York City' book!)
Aunt Candice and Uncle Joey are up in NYC where Joey has just begun his MBA at Columbia University - we are so proud of them, but miss them so much! We are sad that you can't be here this week, and CANNOT WAIT for you to meet Baby P!

Slight change of plans...
...this is killin' me!!! We're so ready to meet our baby boy! =)
S is still being admitted to the hospital on Tuesday, Feb 3rd, to begin induction... but she has requested to spend an entire day with sweet Baby P after he arrives. We're so grateful that she'll have that time with him and that we will hopefully have some pictures of the two of them together. But, all of that to say... we will not be heading to Austin until Wednesday, February 4th now. We're almost there... so close to meeting him!! Not that one evening matters in the whole scheme of things... just means I have another 24 hours of killin' time! Any creative suggestions??? I tend to clean when I'm anxious... but after these last two weeks... the house is spotless... laundry is all caught up on... my errands have all been run... I'm running out of things to do! =)
Thank you for your prayers!! We can't wait to post pictures... most likely we'll have some up by Thursday evening or Friday!
Celebrating 7 Years of Marriage
Today, Ben and I are celebrating our 7th wedding anniversary (02/02/2002) - how the time has flown!!! I am so thankful for my husband...for his leadership...and for every day that we've had together these last seven years. He truly is my best friend, the love of my life, and I can't imagine spending a single day without him! Looking forward to many more happy years together... and so thankful that our sweet Baby P will be joining us tomorrow to begin year #8!

BABY P WILL BE JOINING US...
...ON TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 3rd!!!!!! YAAAAAYYYY!!!
Can you tell we're just a little excited??? We have been waiting for this day for so very long!!!
Our hospital plan that we worked out with S and the caseworkers, is to give S and her family some private time with sweet Baby P on the first day (Feb 3rd). So that means that we will be heading down to Austin on Tuesday afternoon... checking into the hotel... CELEBRATING... and then finally meeting our baby boy on Wednesday, February 4th. OH HAPPY DAY!!!
